STAR TOURING AND RIDING ASSOCIATION
STAR TOURING IS OPEN TO ALL TYPES OF MOTORCYCLES.
As long as you love something on two wheels, three wheels, a or sidecar rig, you can be one of us. We are an open group and do not discriminate against race, creed, color, sex, religion, or the type of motorcycle you ride.Within the STAR Touring and Riding Association there are several groups that have been set up to help recognize and promote those STAR members who fit within them.
LADIES OF STAR (LOS)
This group welcomes and includes all women motorcycle enthusiasts, both riders and passengers. You do not have to own a Yamaha STAR line motorcycle to join! The only requirement is that you love the sport of motorcycling! LOS is currently one of the fastest growing women’s motorcycling organizations! The purpose of LOS is to promote a positive image of women riders and to help encourage more women to become part of this fulfilling sport.STAR KIDS and STAR TEENS
STAR Kids and STAR Teens represents our effort to educate the next generation as to the positive aspects of motorcycling. This encourages safety training, judgment training, and positive behavior.STAR VETS
STAR vets honors and commemorates the sacrifices of the men and women who have served or are currently serving our country.
It’s a way of saying “We will never forget.” This segment of STAR Touring proudly displays their service insignia, and places all veterans in special honor, no matter what motorcycle they ride.TIN STAR
As STAR Touring and Riding grows we at times need assistance from someone that has been trained as a police officer, physician, nurse, fire fighter, paramedic, EMT or search and rescue member. To help identify which of our members have volunteered to be of assistance, we have developed a special pin, the “TIN STAR” to designate which of our members has volunteered to help when needed. If members are in need of urgent help, and they see one of our own “TIN STARS” they will know whom to ask.
